This policy applies to the uvmars.com website and to the mobile applications published by uvmars.com on the App Store (collectively, "our services"). It explains what information we do and do not collect, and how we handle user data. We keep this policy honest and update it before any of our services begin collecting user data.

2. The Website (uvmars.com)

The website is a static informational site. It has no login, no accounts, no forms, and no third-party analytics or advertising. It does not use cookies or tracking pixels.

The web server may generate standard access logs (such as IP address, request time, and requested resource) for operational security and troubleshooting. These logs are not sold, shared, or used to build profiles of visitors.

3. Current App: uPlayer

uPlayer is a fully local music player. It plays MP3/FLAC files stored on your device and requires no account. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data: no account, no analytics, no network requests beyond those you initiate, and no cloud storage.

4. Future Apps That Use Accounts

Some apps we plan to publish will require a user account to provide their features. For those apps, we will collect only the data needed to run the account and the service, and we will update this policy and each app's in-app privacy details before launch. In general:

• What we may collect: account credentials (e.g., email, username, and a securely hashed password), and only the usage data required to make the feature work.
• How it is used: solely to operate the account and provide the requested service. We do not sell user data.
• Storage & security: data is stored securely, access is restricted, and passwords are never stored in plain text.
• Your rights: you may access, correct, or delete your account data at any time. Account deletion removes the associated personal data unless required to retain it by law.

5. Cookies & Tracking

The website uses no cookies and no tracking technologies. Future account-based apps may use session tokens to keep you signed in; these are necessary for the service and are not used to track you across unrelated sites.

6. Third Parties

We do not share or sell personal information to third parties. We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising services.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle user data, we will update this page. The "Effective date" above will reflect the latest revision.
